Losing weight is not something that will just happen. You have to MAKE it happen. You may not like the thought of exercise - it may even scare you to death. But it has to be done if you are to be successful. Following certain rules will help. Now, record what you eat.

Exercise - Exercise is the one absolute that is required for permanent weight loss. If you do not exercise then you will not be able to lose weight permanently. It is a fact. Also, not exercising makes you lazy and builds in an aura of negative expectation.

An exercise program of five 30-minute sessions per week should be employed into your schedule. This can also be achieved by exercising for 10 minutes, three times a day. That is not much and most of us can afford the time to do this. If you cannot find the time then this is simply an excuse. Yes, of course there will be days when you just cannot make it. But on most, yes most, days, you will be just fine if you put your mind to it.

This strategy is good for people with busy schedules, time consuming jobs and families to balance. It is also good for people that like to make excuses. Taking three 10 minute breaks is something all of us can achieve. Walking, taking classes at a gym, joining a sports league or even 10 minutes of sit-ups and push-ups in your office are beneficial. Exercise becomes, like water, essential and necessary to the psyche and body once you begin a regimented program.
